In this blog, we review the Chase interest rates of different products from time to time to bring you the updated rates of interest for each of these products. Chase Bank is one of the leading banks that offer a wide variety of savings and lending products. Our focus today will be on the features and interest rates of their certificate of deposits (CDs).

There are two kinds of CDs offered by Chase Bank and they are regular CD and chase CD Specials. In the case of regular CD, the minimum opening deposit is $1,000 while the chase CD specials have a minimum opening deposit of $10,000. Another difference is the higher rate of interest for the initial term in the case of Chase specials CD. They have many flexible options when it comes to term periods. The reputation of the bank coupled with FDIC insurance makes it a sound investment.

The current Chase Bank CD rates for a 6-month or 12-month term in the regular CD is 0.25% APY. Chase CD rates for a 18-month CD is 0.75% while the rates for a 24-month or 36-month CD is 1.01%. The CD rates at Chase Bank for the special CD is 0.50% APY for a 9-month term and 1.01% for a 13-month term. The Chase Bank interest rates for a 24-month CD are 1.50%, while for a 36-month term, it is 2.00%. The rates for a 48-month term are 2.50% and 60-month term are 3.00% respectively. These rates are very competitive and this one of the main reasons for the attractiveness of these CDs as an investment avenue.

It’s been a little while since our last Chase Bank CD rates update, so we here at Bank Rates Reviews are going to give you the latest information on what’s happening with Chase certificate of deposit rates.

There are still six specials and five standard rates to choose from.

Chase CD rates Specials – The special rates require a $10,000 minimum deposit to open and maintain and automatically renew for a like amount of term time at standard rates. Interest is paid monthly or at end of term, depending on term length.

9 month Chase Bank CD rates for specials are 1.01% APY, 13 months at 1.25% APY, and 18 months at 1.50% APY. Annual percentage yields or Chase interest rates on 24 month terms are 2.00% APY, 48 months at 2.50% APY, and 60 months at 3.00% APY.

Chase Bank CD rates (standard) - These standard terms require a $1,000 minimum deposit to open and maintain and pay interest monthly or at end of term depending on terms. These do not require auto-renewal.

The short-term six month Chase interest rates are 0.25% APY, as are 12 months. 18 months, 24 months, and 36 months all have a 1.01% APY on their Chase certificate of deposit rates.

Of course, all Chase Bank accounts are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law. Chase Bank CD rates change often, so if any of these Chase interest rates appeal to you, lock yours in today. Most Washington Mutual banks are now offering Chase Bank CD rates as well, since the two banks have merged.

It’s time once again for a Chase CD rates update. When we looked at Chase CD rates the last time, about a month ago, there were some interesting CD rates at Chase Bank as specials. Those have changed from four to five offers and with somewhat different yields. So we here at Bank Rates Reviews are bringing you the latest.

Those specials are in terms from 9 months to 60 months: 9, 13, 18, 24, and 60 months. The annual percentage yield (APY) is tiered according to those terms and these specials have a $10,000 minimum deposit to get these Chase Bank interest rates.

The 9-month has a 1.10% APY, the 13-month a 1.25% APY, the 18-month a 1.75% APY, the 24-month a 2.0% APY, and the 60-month a 2.50% APY. These are the best Chase Bank CD rates available right now.

Standard CD rates at Chase Bank are also in five tiers, but only have a $1,000 minimum deposit to open. The 6-month and 12-month rates are at 0.25% APY and the 18, 24, and 36-month rates are 1.01% APY.

Both the special and the standard Chase CD rates are available online. Chase Bank interest rates may differ for in-branch accounts, however. As always, these Chase Bank CD rates are subject to change at any time, so if any of them interest you, lock yours in now.

All Chase Bank accounts are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law.

Chase Bank CD Rates

Post from: Bank Rates Reviews

When we looked at Chase Bank CD rates last, they were running two kinds of CD: specials and standard. A few things have changed, so we here at Bank Rates Reviews thought we should bring you up to date with what’s happening with CD rates at Chase Bank.

The higher yield Chase Bank interest rates for certificates of deposit are in the specials. There are four of them, all of which have a minimum deposit of $10,000. Their terms are 9, 12, 24, and 60 months. Their Chase CD rates are 1.5%, 1.75%, 2.0%, and 2.5% annual percentage yield (APY) respectively. These Chase Bank CD rates are for the initial term, however, and the CD will auto-renew for a like term at regular rates afterward.

Standard rates can be for terms as short as 1 month and as long as 120 months. Deposit minimums are $1,000 and can go as high as you’d like. We’re quoting relationship rates here and assuming a deposit of under $100,000. Standard rates are slightly lower.

For terms up to 17 months, CD rates at Chase Bank are 0.25% APY. For 18 to 59 month terms, the Chase CD rates are 1.01% APY and for over 60 month terms, Chase Bank CD rates are 1.50% APY.

These are down from the last time we looked at them, but are still at around the national average. These Chase Bank interest rates are subject to change at any time, of course, and all Chase accounts are FDIC insured.

Chase CD Rates

Post from: Bank Rates Reviews

Chase is one of the largest banks in the world, being a part of JPMorgan Chase, so a look at their certificate of deposit (CD) rates is appropriate. Chase CD rates are competitive, so we at Bank Rates Reviews thought we’d let you know what’s going on with them.

Chase Bank CD rates are split into two types of offerings: a standard certificate of deposit and a higher-yield group of CD rates at Chase Bank called Specials. The difference between them is a matter of minimum deposit requirements.

Chase bank rates for standard CDs range from 6 months to 3 years in term. These accounts have a minimum deposit of $1,000 and yield 1.01% annual percentage yield (APY). These CD rates at Chase Bank aren’t spectacular, of course, but wait until you see the Specials.

Chase CD rates for Specials have a tiered return based on term length. This is because the term length is half the term and then the CD automatically renews at a like-length term at the current rate. So if the current CD yield is 1.01% APY, after the special term is up, the Chase CD rates of 1.01% will apply for an equal term.

So if you’re Chase bank rates CD Special is a 12 month, it’s actually a 24 month, with the second half being at the going rate. Sounds complicated, but the Chase CD rates for these specials are very good. The shortest, at 9 months, has a 1.50% APY and the longest at 60 months has a 2.5% APY. These Chase bank rates require a $10,000 opening deposit.

Rates change quickly, of course, so check the current Chase bank rates before opting in, but we feel you’ll definitely want to look these options over. Chase Bank CD rates might be just what you’re looking for.
